This position reports to the Field Superintendent. Operators work with a team to safely install and replace underground utilities. Duties for an Operator include working in an outdoor construction setting doing physically demanding work. Operators utilize various construction equipment and assist craft workers in performing their assigned duties, along with general Laborer duties as assigned.

Operation of heavy equipment including excavators, backhoes, front end loaders and skidsteers to excavate or move dirt, rock and other materials
Load or assist with loading materials or equipment
Prepare pre-trip equipment prior to mobilizing to job site
Assist in securing work site, equipment at the end of each shift
Prepare documents, reports, or job aids related to work, equipment, and safety
Perform job tasks in a safe manner in accordance with company policy
Perform miscellaneous other duties as assigned

This position reports to the Field Superintendent. Class A CDL Drivers / Vacuum Operators work in support of directional drill operations by transporting bore machines to and from project locations and driving/operating hydro-excavation vacuum trucks. This position will drive as well as operate the vacuum truck for potholing and bore mud support. The CDL Operator will also perform Laborer and other Operator duties as assigned and must be proficient in these tasks as well.

Maintain accurate driver logbook, ELD, inspection records, and receipts as required by USDOT regulations.

This position reports to the Field Superintendent. HDD operators (Drillers) are responsible for precise HDD placement, utilizing the HDD rig and associated equipment to install pipelines and utilities in a trenchless operation. At times, the Driller may be required to act as the foreman of the crew, supporting the Superintendent during periods of absence or while the crew is working in multiple locations. The Driller will also perform Laborer and other Operator duties as assigned and must be proficient in these tasks as well.

Proficiently operate horizontal directional drilling equipment, including, but not limited to: Vermeer and American Augers directional drills, backhoe, excavators.
Individuals must be able to read prints and have knowledge of the underground processes.
The ability to work safely, with or without supervision.
Operator must always be knowledgeable of all typical safety procedures and be able to apply them.

This position reports to the Field Superintendent while working on projects, otherwise will report to Operations Manager. The Guidance Technician is responsible for precise HDD placement, utilizing wireline and walkover guidance systems and associated equipment to install pipelines and utilities in a trenchless operation. At times, the Guidance Technician may be required to support the Superintendent with other duties as assigned, such as OneCall updates, equipment inspections, etc. The Guidance Tech may also perform Laborer and other Operator duties as assigned and must be proficient in these tasks as well.

Proficiently operate locating equipment, such as Tensor Tru-Track wireline and Digi-Track walkover systems.
Individuals must be able to read prints and have knowledge of the underground processes.
Must be proficient in land surveying and able to operate theodolite, total station, data collector, computer interface, etc.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, experience in CAD design preferred

As Field Superintendent, you are responsible for overseeing drilling operations, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications. You will manage and coordinate the activities of the drilling crew, providing guidance and resolving any operational issues. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, maintain equipment, and keep detailed records of drilling activities and progress.
